This appears to be a "game" made entirely of video footage shot with live actors and sets. The idea isn't new; it's been done many, many years ago, especially with the move to CDs as the medium of choice for game storage. It basically seems like an interactive movie.

That looks pretty lame, and sounds pretty lame. Didn't this sort of thing flop in a big way when Sega CD games were doing this interactive video thing?

Not all Wii games look bad. The ones that someone actually put some effort into look good for the hardware it's on. Wii simply doesn't have the hardware muscle that the other guys do. Graphics aren't everything, and Nintendo is proving that. That is why Wii is outselling the other systems several times over.
