For christ's sake vote for McCain before its to late! I AM NOT RAISING MY KIDS UNDER A TERRORIST PRESIDENT! Alright, here in the United States we theoretically enjoy a freedom of speech, although the current administration has worked hard to make that statement untrue, and I suppose the right thing for me to do would be to allow people to share their opinions and beliefs. However, your post is in kinda shady territory, at least bordering on hate speech. In fact, it's reading as though it's expressing hatred toward Arabs and Muslims. Further, you're boldly declaring false statements about Barack Obama, as he is not Arab, he is not Muslim (in fact he is Christian and has spent twenty-some years in a Christian church), and he is not a terrorist. I heard just the other day that even McCain had to tell his own supporters that this is untrue, and this truth was met with boos from McCain's own supporters. I know that many Americans entertain the ignorant notion that Obama is a terrorist, that he is Arab, and/or that he is Muslim, so in a way you're just saying what millions of others blindly believe, but like millions of Americans you are still expressing prejudice and hatred toward people who have the Constitutional right to freedom of religion and people regarded by our government (and hopefully by our people) as equals. People of Arabian descent and people of Muslim faith are protected and regarded as equals by our Constitution and its amendments, and in so many ways it is wrong to discriminate against either. You can believe whatever you wish and it's your right to express those beliefs, but I suggest making sure that what you're preaching is at least accurate before brazenly declaring it on the rooftops. Oh, and welcome to the boards. | |
