| This has always been an easy topic for gamers to jump into, and has been successful on other forum communities, so let's give it a try. The idea behind this thread is simply that we can tell others what game we are currently playing. It doesn't matter what platform it's on. Heck, it doesn't necessarily even have to be a video game (could be chess or the latest incarnation of Monopoly). I'll start us off. Right now, I'm kinda back and forth between Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360) and Grid (Xbox 360). I'd say anyone and everyone knows what GTA is, but Grid is a racing game. I was previously playing and had not finished with Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii), The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass (DS), and Mario Kart Wii (Wii), but after GTAIV came out I just haven't had time to get back into the others. I'd like to finish them, but need time to do so. Grand Theft Auto IV: Grid: | |

| So, I'm playing GTAIV and I call up my buddy Packie. I ask him for a bomb, and he hooks me up, leaving one waiting for me in a van across Alderney (GTA version of New Jersey). I pick it up and stroll down to an intersection where I strap the bomb to the bottom of an SUV stopped at the red light. After he drives off down the street, I use my cell phone to trigger the detonator, blowing up the random citizen as he's driving down the street to work or home or God knows where.
Just for giggles. | |

| I'm playing Ninja Gaiden II right now, but I'm not all that impressed by it. I'm thinking about going to something else but haven't decided yet. | |

| Meh. Ninja Gaiden II didn't look so hot to me, and it sounds like something that will only appeal to Ninja Gaiden fans.
I just beat Grand Theft Auto IV a night ago, though I still have some things I wanted to finish up before putting it away.

| So what do you suggest dumping NG for? Remember that I hate sports and fighting games. | |

| I thought about doing that, and I would had it not been for the fact that I have so many games I either haven't played yet or haven't finished with but intend to. If I didn't have all these other games on the back burner, I'd definitely be popping in Diablo 2 as well. Oh, I reckon folks will soon recognize the new graphics for the buttons. What I don't know is how many folks will identify the Exocet font I used on them. Exocet is known by some hardcore Diablo (1) fans as the "Diablo font". We knew this because we often hunted it down for use on our own little Diablo-themed websites. | |

| I picked up Oblivion pretty cheap so I'm playing that right now. My favorite part is Patric Stewart voicing the king. It's just a shame he had to die right at the start of the game. I started wandering around and don't know where I should be going but I keep finding stuff for me to do. How do I know where I'm supposed to go? | |

The game is completely open and non-linear, so you can do what you want, when you want, however you want, for whatever reason you want. Your quest log will keep track of your quests for you, and it divides them up between the ones you have yet to complete and those that are completed. Pick a quest from the list of those that aren't completed and make it your active quest, and it should provide you with any relevant data that you have, including where to go I believe. (Been a while since I played it.)

| God. Not Oblivion! All my husband did for a long time was just play Oblivion. He put like several hundred hours in it. I think he played that almost as much as World of Warcraft! | |

| So, I'm still playing GRID, and I was playing Diablo II again, but now I'm messing around with a free MMO called Dungeon Runners. I'm probably going to whip up a topic about it in the reviews section. | |

| On account of my Xbox 360 being dead, I'm starting into SimCity 4: Deluxe Edition for the PC. I bought it several days back and installed it but haven't had time to play it yet. | |

To some people. All types of games are boring to some people. I've heard people complain that racing games are boring, that shooters are boring, that RPGs are boring, and so on. One gamer's trash is another gamer's treasure.

| I haven't updated this for a while. I finished up GRID, and piddled in Eternal Sonata a bit, and we've bought Spore although I haven't had time to play with it yet. All of my game time lately has been sunk into Forza Motorsport 2.
I'm doing pretty well in Forza 2 so far. According to the official Forza website, I am at the 99th percentile in the time trial scoreboards, sitting at 5,889th out of 518,498 drivers ranked. On the hot lap scoreboard I am at the 87th percentile, ranked 265,129 out of 1,972,964 players. On the exhibition scoreboard I am at the 85th percentile, ranked 134,581 out of 918,242. Finally, in career mode I am at the 83rd percentile, ranked 274,077 out of 1,638,738 players. I still have a lot more to do in career mode, so my position should imrpove, and in exhibition I used lower-class cars at the time since I was new to Forza, and if I should go back and complete exhibition with much faster cars I again should improve my ranking. Still, not bad.
EDIT: Hey, I was right. I completed a couple of exhibition races with a high-end car, and I moved up to the 96th percentile, ranked 37,494 out of 918,462. Hey, there's also been 220 new players added to those standings since I last posted here. Now, if I can do this with the other exhibition events, surely I can work to the 99th percentile.
